Nothing beats living in Res!
We want you to enjoy the campus and take full advantage of everything Charlotte Maxeke has to offer and, in doing so, we encourage you to take appropriate personal and collective precautions when living and learning at Charlotte Maxeke.
Recreational areas are equipped with selected Dstv, and dining facilities. Free Wi-Fi access is also available in the residence. Recreational and sporting facilities that are also available include a swimming pool, tennis courts, sports fields and food courts.
Laundry services are free! Just take note of the laundry hours please.
We take your safety very seriously and we want you to do the same, so DO NOT give your room code to friends. You will be fined R150 if you contravene this rule. Make sure that your girlfriends are signed in at the security booth before your girl chats..
All visitors need to sign in at the security booth for safety purposes.
Our visiting hours are from Sunday to Thursdays from 12pm till 10pm and Friday till Saturday from 12pm till 1am?
Quiet hours are effective 24hours during exam times.
Please note: All first years have compulsory study sessions Mon – Thur from 7-9pm.
Report all maintenance issues to your Student Leader immediately. And remember it might take a day or two to be fixed, but it will be fixed.
No cooking is allowed in the microwaves.
